Attention Claude! (Off-Topic)
I apologize for posting this here, but I am not active in the Marathon community and I have no better way to contact you.
I also apologize for the incredibly specific nature of this message.

At the bottom of the Trilogy Release page, there is a note that reads as follows:
Important Note:
This disc is included in .ISO format. It is beyond the scope of this page to walk you through using this format - Google is your friend. (Please don't write about this - we probably won't even answer.) For folks who don't have tools for mounting .ISOs, I found this page, with a link to a tiny, free, unsupported app available from Microsoft that comes with pretty simple instructions (though no auto-setup). I downloaded it, followed the directions to install it, and tested it - it works nicely. That's the limit of our tech support. If the day comes when the linked web page disappears, let us know and we'll try and put up a local copy of the tiny app.
The day has come. The linked web page has disappeared.
You’re welcome.
Attention Claude!
Aren't ISO files handled natively by Windows at this point?

Okay - local version is up. No way to test it, so fingers are crossed I'm not providing people with some virus delivery system.
You’re welcome.
Thanks.

See, here I was thinking I was being annoying for even noticing. After all, I’m not even downloading the Windows port…
In other news, though, I’m finally getting into the trilogy! I played M1 a very long time ago (on an actual classic Mac, no less!), and I enjoyed it quite a lot, but I’ve never taken the plunge to play through the entire thing until now.

If a Bob says “Frog Blast the Vent core!”, it means he’s got ammo to give you. Walk up to him and press the action key and he’ll hand it over. Handy for getting rockets and canisters for the flame thrower which are otherwise rare.

Indeed they are. You can right-click an .ISO image file and choose "mount," and it'll show up as a disc drive a few seconds later. You can right-click and "eject" the "disc" to un-mount.

Wow. If I knew that, I forgot it.

Wow. If I knew that, I forgot it.
Doing it is always a real blast.

Why are you such a terrible person?

Now I remember. Heh.
I've explained a dozen times how my name Kermit came from that being Master Chief's internal nickname for a bit, but also, the frog connection made a kind of sense--at least it nudged me in that connection.
