I've noticed that you can use all of the other materials to up reputation at the factions, but I don't see a reason to have spinmetal? Is it able to be sold in any other way? Or is it just good for upgrading weapons?

Dead Orbit is taking Spinmetal this week, so cash it in with them for easy rep. You'll likely run out of it before you level up, but it's a good boost either way.

Ahhhhh! okay, that makes much more sense. I was wondering why there was a 4th wheel for resources. Not to mention the one resource that is probably received the most often especially because of RoI
