It was the darkest of times. There was no light to be seen for ages. Talk of a mystical Lighthouse persisted, but much like Halo 2, the Great Journey left Mercy behind. It was tragic. Then Korny, the savior, rose up and helped to vanquish the Darkness. Heroes rejoiced. The masses celebrated. And then Korny rode off into the sunset toward the PS4lands. Will he ever return to Xbox One? Who knows. His legend lives on.

If he really doesn't want to be there and would rather just get through it, it's definitely more time efficient to throw matches.

Protip: Dont force yourself to play. I like the Crucible and have Lighthouse'd plenty, but you still won't catch me dead in ToO any more. Not worth the stress to me. If you feel similarly don't put yourself through it. Just throw some games and get your book finished.

That only happens to people who are reasonably competent in Trials.

To be fair, though, it seems I'm way better at Inferno Trials than regular Trials. Made it up to 7-0 this weekend.

Just the sight of that card in the RoI book makes me want to slit every single artery and vein in my entire body with a dull plastic spoon.

However, if I let that book close forever without at least trying, I actually will do it. I'll be a lot heavier to carry with all the liquor I'LL need...

So just start a card with 2 friends and all of you suicide immediately. Twenty minutes later your RoI book achievement will be done.

I can't remember who I did this with in year 1. But we were going to do a warm up card and I didn't buy any boons. Made it to 8 wins and my other two teammates went to the lighthouse and I didn't :(

I remember back when we carried Avateur to the Lighthouse, and he was droning on and on about how he had made this very mistake, and how his life was a bottomless cesspool of misery and hate, or something like that... Anyway, buy those Mercy boons!

I ran a card with some friends I haven't played with in quite awhile last night. We made it up to 7 wins and then got a loss on our card. We still needed to finish off a card for the bounty so we decided to be nice and helpful and throw the remaining games in order to let the other teams have an easier chance at the lighthouse.

Here's the message I got from one of the opponents.

I decided to just report the messages and then move on from there. I really wanted to say a few choice words back but decided against it.

Anyway, I ended up getting the blind perdition out of our run so I was happy with that.

Protip: don't buy Mercy (reply)
