My first drop in in the Heroic Playlist was the Pools version. Before I bothered to run through the strikes for the quest. So I was really confused when I couldn't find the Relic, because I saw it in the trailer.

The Nexus strike has at least two different boss encounters. It doesn't always have a Relic.

Interesting. I haven't come across the non-relic version yet (but then, I've only run it 4 or 5 times).

When I picked the strike from the director, I got a version where you would get marked for negation and had to find a pool of light to cleanse. Not sure if there was a way to avoid getting marked in the first place since the boss went down in two rounds.

When Zero, Chappy, and I did the nightfall last night, we got the relic version and I had no idea what was going on :p

Pretty much in total agreement with both of you on this. I love sparrow racing but I have a very hard time deciding whether to do that or the new strikes.

Nexus Mind's boss room didn't SEEM that much harder until I realized how MANY enemies were spawning on the last wave.

The last add wave on Omnigul was especially tense. Both teammates were dead, EVERYTHING in the world had just spawned, and I was stuck in a sea of green nope gas (holy crap I hate that stuff) with less than 1/4 health. I did have cloaking, but couldn't sit still long enough to engage it - there were so many enemies I couldn't find a sheltered spot near me. I was sure I was dead, but blink strike recharged and I was able to use that to cloak. Got everyone back up, and we pulled it off. What a moment. :)
