If you open the first two chests and bring friends in on the Resume, the first chest may not be there for them. That is what happened on one test.

A Restart let me get the loot from both chests. The checkpoint brought me into the cave at the top/beginning of Templar's Well. Just had to walk up the path.

Starting from a wipe at Templar.

Climb back up cliff to beginning.

First unopened chest is gone.

Second unopened chest in Kabr's cave is still there.

I will try a restart to see if both chests are there.

Given that the chest in the Trial of Kabr is new, I have no idea if it would load in at that checkpoint, which may prevent people from getting that loot. If it doesn't spawn, you'd have to restart the raid to get at it.

apparently, this method of opening the vault has always existed, but i never knew about it, and you would only get shards from it back in the day so it didn't really matter anyways. Now you can get knuckles of EAO and a chance at an exotic
