You only get one rocket when ammo is shared.  Maybe you get more if you are the first one to pick it up, but I was definitely only getting a single rocket every time I picked up it after someone on my team had already activated it.</p>
</blockquote><p>You get one whether you pick it up first or not. In modes where only one person gets it (eg Showdown this week), you get 2.</p>

</blockquote><p>What the Heavy spawn really does is establish the conflict. You have to at least contest it, and in most games a clean pickup by one team off the bat is unusual. </p>
<p>A lot of the complaints about D2Y1 were related to the slow pace of PvP, where hanging back and getting picks was more rewarding than aggressive gameplay. I like Destiny best when it rewards decisive, aggressive strategies, and contesting Heavy spawns usually results in that type of gameplay.</p>
<p>Now, in the situation where someone actually does get clean Heavy, things can get frustrating, so I'd like to see that amount of ammo reduced (which I think they did here as well). Especially for Machine Guns.</p>
