I was protecting the vault, but I ran out of space in the vault, so now I feel like it's sorta helpful to lose stuff.

Also, my expectations were wrong. In some ways it's easier to solo Outpost than Dire Marsh - as long as the goal is scavenging loot. Getting in rooms and events are impossible for me solo. Contracts have been pretty difficult, but doable.
